have i ever mentioned how much i love my worship team? :DSUNDAY! 090809
woke up at 6.30 but drifted off to sleep and the next thing i knew, OHMYTIAN! IT'S 7.18! hahaha so i chionged like mad to change and all, and phew, i got ready by 7.30 and mummy rushed me to expo! was late though, but not the latest! (right o wen?) HAHAHA(: and ohmy, for the first time, our whole team followed the dress code really strictly man! benkheng with his red shirt and white shoes, sam with her red and white blouse, pris with her red shirt and white scarf, me with my white shirt and red jacket (thanks sam!), o wen with his white shirt and red tie, and joel with his red shirt with white prints lols :D and sad sad sad apparently hwee kiat fell off his bike on sat night so omg he couldn't come ): its so so so so emptyyyyyy! no kaibin alr bad enough, some more no hwee kiat! i could tell ben and sam and o wen were struggling to fill up the gaps but, hmm, no one can really fill the gaps for "hear our praises" except the bass eh? XD
did sound checked, went through the actions quickly, and haha before we went volunteer service, we were looking at the prayers that the children wrote that was pieced together into a national flag and some were super super cute okay! one said "happy birthday singapore, here's my hamster" HAHAHA and one 4 year old kid wrote "i pray that singapore will not have aliens" SOOOOO CUTE LEH! yeah we were late for volunteer service-.- but okay la it was still worship lols(: and then, pastor khong preached.. it was a really scary plus frightening plus awakening sermon man. but i think everyone really needed it haha even me too! (:
after volunteer service, rushed back to get ready! ohmy i tell you, IT'S SO SUPER HOT TO WEAR THE RED JACKET ARGH. but hafta stick to the dress code so sighhhhh. hehehe(: and YAY kaibin came and guess what he got dragged to do? STAND NEXT TO ME AND DO ACTIONS! hahahahahahhaha:D it was so super amusing man! you musicians will think again next time when you say worship leading is so much easier than being a musician eh! (:(:(:
and thennnnn SERVICE STARTED! it was so fun okay! the kids were so super super duper enthu! it's the first time i've seen the kids in expo so so enthu! they played "how well do you know singapore" and kaibin really fail his history man! o wen and i were screaming at him like mad cos he practically got almost every question wrong. and hahah there was "don't forget the lyrics!" I GOT EVERY SONG CORRECT! boo you kaibin and o wen! HAHAHAHA:D we were all so hyper on stage man! and then came worship, i was super hot and perspiring like mad after the first song, AND WE EVEN HAD SUPERNATURAL ohmytian it was crazy okay! and kaibin's so funny doing actions, he's like so stiff and always hafta look at the lyrics lols!
haha then finally after our SHINE JESUS SHINE and HEAR OUR PRAISES, we sang national day songs! ohmygoodness we were so super gaoxiao on stage okay! me and ben were like imitating the video for WHAT DO YOU SEEEEEEEEEE and i was doing some stupid action until the whole team was off their instruments and dancing and laughing like mad! HAHAHAH! i love them man! but after like 2 whole hours standing and singing and waving my hands like mad WE FINALLY FINISHED SERVICE! we were jumping for joy man! it was like last year when we finally finished christmas man!
so yeah, we packed up, and joel and i decided to pull the drum box prank on pris, BUT AHHHH YOU KAIBIN GO OPEN THE DOOR! but pris screamed a little luh HAHAHAHA(: the whole team was so hyper we were singing all the way to pushing cupboards man :D what do you seeeee~ and then, WE WENT TO HALL NINE AND TOOK TEAM PHOTOS! cos like for the first time, we all wore correct dress code hahahaha XD and and and omgoodness, we found out a deep dark secret HAHAHA i shall not announce it here firstttt OHMYOHOMYOHMY! ben was like so funny la! he couldn't contain his laughter! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! hahahahha XD then, after discussing for super long and saying bye byes, we all went our separate ways(:

i'm finally home. FINALLY. i've never felt so exhausted from rehearsal before man! today was madness+craziness+throat killing uh! haha. i sincerely feel that going to TCT for every rehearsal is gna killll meeeeeeeeeeeee!first things first, i fell down at the overhead bridge-.-
"eh o wen uh, isit joy hall is up there?"
anw yeah, soon everyone came, and aunty eunice pangsei-ed us to go prepare for her emcee thinghy lols! so it was just me and joel with the baaaaaaand. haha, rehearsal was okay, besides the part that ALMOST ALL THE SONGS KILLED MY VOICE! seriously okay! it was like what we call "sha ji" HAHAHA XD but the team was really so super funny, rehearsal was rather fun! and then after we finish all our rehearsing, aunty eunice finally came back to give us briefing, but actually, we were playing and joking most of the time. HAHA then aunty eunice told us that the cue to come in for SHINE JESUS SHINE is after we finish praying for pastor khong then ben kheng was like "imagine what the children will pray for him, we pray for pastor's magic, we pray for his doves, we pray for the dancers, we pray for the costumes, we pray for priscilla, we pray for his dinner..and on and on and on" (in a super cartoon voice) OMG IT WAS SO SUPER FUNNY OKAY! too bad our team couldn't stay on to rehearse somemore ): we practised shine jesus shine FAST and later we realised it's supposed to be slow lols.
HAHA YAY HWEE KIAT. he sent us home! actually it's to pasir ris mrt luh, the whole journey was rather entertaining, i was stuck at the back of the van with o wen then pris sit in front with hwee kiat. so like i was half drifting off to sleep and half the time telling o wen about all the superbly funny things that samuel, jemuel and lemuel does. he really laughed until uh, wha cannot tahan. who won't laugh when it comes to those three crazy brothers man. in the end, i went for dinner with o wen at the kopitiam lols! we ate jap food-.- which apparently i couldn't finish and his noodles were so super spicy :P
haha when we were walking to the bus interchange after dinner, i was like telling o wen "imagine if hwee kiat didn't fetch us here, we would be walking out of the mrt NOW!" and the pain and agony of remembering that i have to travel to TCT for EVERY SINGLE REHEARSAL from now on. sadness.
but anw, haha can't wait for tmr! it's gna be quite fun i think(: can't wait to see how the band dresses up for tmr lols :P RED AND WHITE, GUYS(:

SUNDAY, 020909final diagnose: respiratory- influenza.
that's what i get after sitting at changi general hospital for 1 whole hour
in a set-up that is exactly like the one during SARS,
and feeling so freaked out.
so yeah, after i came home from rehearsal, i had fever ):
but mummy sponged me and gave me panadol and i slept well (too tired from rehearsal)
then on saturday i was fine, still coughed alot but no fever,
and i slept super lot again man. 11.30am-1.30pm, 2.00pm-5.30pm.
i feel so piggish lols.
but this morning, after not sleeping well for almost the whole night (kept coughing and my stomach hurt like mad from all the coughging), i was running a fever again. so daddy got up and said "lets go hospital" i was like nooooooooooooooooooo. they'll right smack give me 7 day mc one!?!?!? but yeah, still went anyway. and it's so freaky. like it's all empty, then when i stepped into the make-up clinic, the only farmilliar word was "TRIAGE" haha i have no idea why they label their counter and triage. and yeah, registered and all, then still must take blood pressure bla bla. and ohmytian, the wait is so so so so long okay. it was so unconfortable! especially the masks-.- but i think i'm getting used to it now lols(:
and then like finally after 1 hour plus, the doc called me in, then i still had to go call mummy in too, and then, check check check, ask don't know how many questions, then he said "your daughter caught the influenza, but it's very minor, just have to quarantine her" bla bla bla.
i have no idea what's going on but sms-ed o wen cos i'm so super scared i passed the virus to the team! :S thank goodness they're all fine! haha :D anw, went home and jo was so scared to touch me that the made sure we kept 1m distance ALL THE TIME. so all i hafta do is stretch my hand towards her and she'll scream like man-.-

okay i'm really super bored at home. i miss 2k, i miss my squad, I MISS MY TEAM! ahhhhh, and haha i realised the only ppl i've met this whole period of time (besides my family) is the team lols :D i miss them omg i really can't wait for rehearsal on saturday! AND SUNDAY IS GONNA BE SO FUN. we have 7 SONGS TO SING ohmytian, it's the first time i've ever seen so many songs in one week okay! i bet it's gna be like christmas and newyear lols, i'm gonna end up huggin o wen's chair and crapping with ben kheng and kaibin again. HAHA, but at least they're super entertaining :D
I WANT SATURDAY TO COME! QUICKLY.

last night was the best man.first thing first: $4 FRIED RICE AT OCTOPUS ROCKS.
hahaha i was not very hungry so shared $4 fried rice with o wen and when he came, he stared and went "what? this's $4 fried rice? how are we gonna finish this man!" hahahaha :P and halfway through it we were contemplating to pack it for after rehearsal lols, but amazingly, WE FINISHED IT OMG! hahahahaha(: and besides the constant d-xiaoing, the whole dinner was really funny.
"o wen, so who's planning family camp uh?"
"me"
"oh i see, no one will dare sign up man"
"go aloha changi, then don't have to worry about arranging for transport bla bla"
"huh, that's crazy man."
"must be innovative(actually i can't remember if that's the word he used)! go aloha loyang! still can go beach la, got food bla bla"
"that'll be the end of all family camps man"

hahaha we finished dinner at like 7pm, so i walked with him to buy bubble tea. then on the way back, i asked him which route to take back to tc and he said "follow the light" EVERYWHERE HAD LIGHTS-.- anw, haha we were stuck outside the door cos it was locked, then asher came but his ears were plugged in with earphones so no matter how we called him, he couldn't hear us lols! o wen had to call him before he came down to open the door for us(:
so yup, rehearsal started but this time, WE WERE BEING FILMED BY ASHER!?!?!?. haha i think it's for the SEL thing that they're teaching the kids. "teamwork" haha, our team is the best to be filmed for that (so bhb right) but, yeah man. it was really fun, cos our team doesn't quarrel although asher's point was to film us "quarelling and all" but haha, the furthest he got was to o wen's "SO HOW ARE WE GONNA START THE SONG?!?" lols! his question was never answered until like dno how long later :P yeah, rehearsal was okay, besides the fact that i was coughing non stop ever since we started on "may our homes be filled with dancing" lols(: so i stopped singing(:
after rehearsal, another bigger surprise was in store for us INTERVIEW. haha we took super long to arrange our seats until everyone could be in the camera! so in the end it was kaibin, me, o wen, ben kheng, hwee kiat. then the back row was sam, pris, aunty eunice. lols super funny leh! like take family photo like that :D so yeah, asher asked us super lot of questions but he said it's ONE QUESTION with alot of sub questions-.- anw yeah it was really fun and super omg really funny okay.
filming ended at like 10pm? went for supper cos o wen was hungry (although he was complaining that dinner was so full) lols. super funny la, they were talking about megan fox and all, and i had not a single idea about what they were talking about so i said "WHO WATCHED F1" hahahaha, then the whole debate about "who find's joy in watching cars zoom by?" haha(: but i was really tired alr and i could feel the heat coming out of my throat every time i breathe man ): so eventually and 10.40 we finally left(: so then, o wen and i couldn't decide whther to take bus or mrt then i had to ask ben kheng "1 or 2" (the tikam question i always ask jean) and he said 1 so we decided to take bus 15 lor. but once we got to the bus stop, bus 31 came then yeah man, change of plan, we took 31 to tanah merah(: so yeah, it was really wha super late when we reached tanah merah, so o wen stayed with me to wait for bus 12, lols, but in the end bus 9 came first so i took bus 9 home and he took mrt!
thanks to the team for last night(: haha i remember when asher interviewed ben and ben's first statement was "this is really a great team" and we were like awwwwww:D but yeah, this's such a great team, THANKS GUYS(:
