heyy..long time no post.. im currently in L.A, California having HOLIDAY!! woohoo.. somany exciting stuff going on..Gkidz is putting up a musical called BORN TO SHINE and im one of the choir.. nice! johanna was just attached to my team.. observing charmaine tay.. woohoo! I LOVE MY TEAM! they're simply the best people in the world. (now you can guess why i love rehearsals and serving so much), willing to wake up at 7am on almost every beautiful sunday morning when actually i can sleep in..
ah. i just went shopping yesterday and my dad went to adidas and bought like 7 pcs of soccer jerseys, bought me and my sis each a pair of shoes ( costed only $22) and a blouse and a jacket for me and like 3 shirts for my 3 cousins and guess how must we spent altogether? $156. but apparently, its considered extremely reasonable cos in singapore, with $156 you probably only can buy 2 adidas shirts! cool right? and then we went to GUESS! me, my sis and my mom bought like at least 10 blouses altogether and guess how much we spent? less than a hundred! GUESS stuff you know?!?!? so.. apparently, my mom did'nt get enough so we went shopping again today. we spent like half a day at disneyland and decided to leave for shopping cos it was so extremely crowded at disney as it was a public hoiday..
the people in california are so friendly! they will like.. just start talking to you when apparently you dont even know them.. and when you go into shops the people there will just go "how you doing? take your time!' and they are so honest that you can just leave you bag on the chair in disneyland and walk away for one hour and when you get back, your bag is still there, untouched and everything still inside. haha. nice people eh? we singaporeans gotta learn from them man..
haha. i'm enjoying myself.. will be back in singapore by monday..( which apparently means i'll miss serving for one week..thats so depressing..)HAHAHAHAHA!see you back in singapore! :)
