FAMILY CAMP<3
3 december(:
woke up like super super early (daddy was really kanchionged) and headed to block 646 to meet the rest. left there about 8 plus, WALKIE-TALKIES RULE THE WORLD. hahaha. the sad thing is you can't really sleep much cos the walkie-talkie would be making so much noise. "hey! stop moving from left lane to right lane leh! i kena confused already leh!". and there's "move move! form up! i help you all block alr!". super amusing la. and there's the "roger" every few minutes. haha. so we drove for quite long, had jam and alll, then i think uncle lim yong's car was almost overheated. quite an interesting drive up eh.
checked-in, went abit mad with the super and i mean SUPER-HYPER LEMUEL.then me and jo got stranded in the lobby-.- mummy and daddy just ran off not even telling us where they were having their mtg. but anyway, aunty cynthia found them and me and jo went to lug our luggages to daddy and mummy's SUITE.slacked while, and next thing you know, the whole gang of committee and their families are bombarding the room. sat through daddy's "amusing" meeting. and when the rest left, me and jo and mummy and aunty lybea and abigail got ready all the registration stuff. but didn't finish uh.
went dinner, jo got alot of unglam photos taken. HOHO. and then, aunty hazel treated me and abby to ice cream. she was so funny. "you can try one you know? try everything la! try a scoop of every ice cream!" i think the baskin robbin's manages in gna come after her. hahaha. everyone was too tired for another mtg so in was cancelled, went back and called lianne but she wasn't in her room ): so me and jo stayed up to finish all the registration stuff. im so proud of the both of us. we actually managed to stay up until 11pm, and get everything so nicely done. we're the pro-est saigaing workers uh.
4 december(:
got a call from lianne early in the morning, me and jo went with their family for breakfast(: ate nasi lemak. i think its nicer than changi village's one. haha. then went to 7 11 to buy stuff. when uncle kavin bought two cans of beer jerald went "dad! buy one first! i like it, we buy another one." HAHAHAHAHA. so we went back to hotel, me and jo went to prepare for registration and the seow family disappeared. hahaha.
everybody started coming in at about 1 plus, got really busy, then when all the campers reached, daddy gave ANOTHER BRIEFING. like ohmygoodness. then we went to meet our groups and all, my family plus the tang family, plus the SEOW family, plus the ng family were in the same group. HAIL HAIL LION OF JUDAH!hahaha. played the find you name tag game, and we got bonus points for finding pastor patrick and hazel's one. we kena scam la! they say bonus points, they really mean they add on. (WE WERE USING THE L1R5 SYSTEM. LESSER THE BETTER).
then during rest time, me and jo moved out of 510 and went to 415 (opposite lianne and jerald's room 403) YAY DADDY! haha. he purposely arrange us to be near to each other one. and o wen and u jin was two levels down (204). hahaha.
then we went for rehearsal, and lianne kena roped in by daddy and she had to play guitar, but quite fun uh! we rehearsed until 6 plus, then me, jo, owen, lianne and jerald went for dinner and jerald made us play DONT FORGET THE TITLE.which was stupid. and he was trying to tell us his "strategy" for that night's games but we were too caught up with guessing so we did'nt bother listening to him.BLESSED TO BE THE NEXT TO BE WITH YOU. what kind of stupid title is that la? in the end we realised the title was supposed to be TO BE WITH YOU. we spent so much time guessing the other 5 words luh!
after dinner went back to the ballroom for FAMILY FUN! it just means games. haha. appprently, jerald's STRATEGY failed quite badly. apparently the mat was much smaller than expected. and then we played this game that we were supposed to build the highest alter, which also kinda failed cos our SCOUT forgot that we were using straws not poles. and then it collapsed but in the end uncle kavin went and acted like a priest to make it look like a real alter and we got 3rd! hahaha. so after games, and many times of asking daddy, we rehearsed again. owen looked like he was gna die. too tired uh.
then me and jerald lugged the keyboard and guitar up. heng the lift was fast or else we'll hafta climb the stairs. after bathing jerald and lianne came our room and lianne painted my nails AND POLLUTED THE WHOLE TOILET (with nail polish). hahaha. played around for awhile, jerald made jo so fed up cos he guessed almost all the magic tricks! almost 12 plus then they went back and i went to sleep(:
5 december(:
woke up kinda late, forgot to call lianne and o wen to wake up. in the end, lianne was the one who woke us up. the air-cond was freezing like mad la! chionged my bath, jerald and lianne came over to borrow TOOTHPASTE-.- and we lugged the instruments down to breakfast. i think everyone was sleepy so we just crapped around and chionged up to ballroom to prepare for worship.
shan't talk bout worship eh. DONT TALK ABOUT IT MAN! hahahaha. off-key lols. and daddy tried to re-start the whole song but we just acted like we dont understand his cue. hohoho.
the youth's were made to stay back for teaching. ): not used to it eh. so we were kinda fidgity. pastor patrick was teaching using the book habbakuk. not sure if its spelt like that. pastor was talking bout something about being in the middle of nowhere, and he went "you know this morning? the YOUTH band? did you notice someone in the wrong place? that man is none other that JOSHUA WOON!" laugh like mad la! lianne spammed my paper like mad-.- during break me and lianne ran up to my room to get ruffles, jerald and his friends moved infront of us. so during the second half of teaching mostly, we were just fighting about ruffles. owen and jerald against me and lianne. hohoho. dno where jo dissappeared to anyway.
during lunch, me, lianne, jerald, owen, u jin (joining us at last) and jo chionged lunch AGAIN then chionged up for rehearsal AGAIN. finished rehearsal, we went back to my room and when me and jo went in the room, changed, and went down for another round of family fun. aka games(: this time we played some blind folded game and jerald went. it was so chaotic cos everyone was shouting at the same time but amazingly gerald heard us and managed to get 2nd. pro uh! then there was this game that the adults played cos in the gamee, they had to deal with flour. haha they offered to let us play but all the youth went "its okay! we'll give you all a chance to make us laugh like mad" hahahaha. in the end, cos of rain we could not play outdoor wet games and everyone went back to their rooms.
when me and jo got back to the room, the teevee was on and next thing you know, uncle kavin pops out from behind the door! SCARY YOU KNOW! and then we played cards and all and uncle kavin was sleeping AND SNORING. hahaha. owen was imitating so well. so we just hanged around until dinner time, then me, jo, owen's family, uncle kavin's family, uncle lawrence's family, uncle bobby and aunty christine and an unknown couple went out for dinner.
when we went there, the couple didn't know us so they started asking who's kids we were. and we scammed them like mad. one moment i was jerald's sister, next moment i was u jin's sister. and we scam them until we ourselves also confused. u jin went "wait. so who's my sister now?" super hilarious la! we in the end johanna went. "okay lets tell the truth. my brother is jerald, see? both name start with j. lianne's brother is u jin, and joelynn's brother is o wen. both on stage this morning one." then uncle lawrence said "usually the brothers will take fish for the sister one. and immediately, jerald went "jie, eat fish" and he put a whole piece of fish on jo's plate. crazy la! and they got so confused that in the end when we told the real real real truth they didn't belief. and then uncle lawrence said "actually they have been praying for kids. after tonight hor, they go home GOD, CANCEL ORDER!" so we scam them till the end la! lianne and jerald got into the car me, jo, owen and u jin got into, and exited throught the other door! laugh like mad la! so in the end, said goodbye's to the seow family): so sad they had to leave early ):
headed back to the hotel and had passover feast. kinda scary uh. it was so serious that for the first time, the kids weren't even moving about. i was missing lianne and jerald cos if they were around it sure would've been really funny. joel drank up all four cups of "wine" that was poured. scary man.
after that, me, jo, owen and u jin went back to our room. hung around a little, and when u jin went into the room he went "where's jerald uh? he coming later right!" funny man! he actually forgot they went home alr. hanged around, watched some indian movie and then slept about 11 plus dead tired man.
6 december(:
got up quite early and forgot to wake owen up again. lols. chionged to get ready and when we were leaving, i called owen and realised he was still sleeping. me and jo lugged the keyboard down uh. so sad no jerald to help us carry. so me and jo solo eat breakfast alone. kinda sad uh. don't have the seow siblings to make us laugh. then o wen came down and told me he was having fever. poor thing man. fever still had to come down so early. ate quite fast, then went up to ballroom to rehearse for worship.
the worship was quite good, no off keys although daddy still attempted to re-start hosanna. then at the end of worship pastor patrick told the parents to give their kids a big hug. daddy hugged me and jo and went over wanting to hug owen. then he stunned like mad. hahaha. funny la his face!
me, jo and owen didn't stay for teaching. went to help with the kids instead. jo did magic show and it was super funny la! "you kachow my trick again i make youDISAPPEAR uh! no, i turn you into a PIG!" hahaha. found out that alot of people were sick. saw samuel vomiting, aunty candice was having food poisoning and o wen was feverish. scary man.
SUNWAY LAGOON! almost thought jo and owen won't be going to sunway lagoon but jo said cos of me she will go sunway lagoon. so touched(: haha. took coach with owen, ujin and jo. owen and jo were sleeping throughout the whole journey la! and u jin was so fascinated by sunway pyramid. hahaha. waited for quite long for our tags to go sunway, went for lunch with the 3 of them at kfc and finally went into sunway at 1 plus. met cheryl and all of them, and went on the mat thinghy with them. quite scary la! but still can't beat california screaming(: o wen and jo were really sick after our third ride so me and u jin went with the rest to play while they sat down aith the adults.
after the rest of them had to leave, we went to bathe, long wait uh. thank goodness teng teng lent us towel. in the end owen followed uncle andy's car back first cos he looked like he was gna faint any moment. so me, jo, ujin and amanda took coach back. everyone was quite tired.
went back to hotel. jo was really feeling sick. but went for campfire still. like who would miss campfire la? owen didn't turn up. when me and jo asked bout o wen u jin went "wow. so many people ask bout my brotther. i feel touched on behalf of him man!" haha. campfire was really amusing. i represented judah to go for the "longest breath" competition. "WE ARE FAMILYYYYYYYYY........" not bad la. held for 17 secs. from all the training in gkidz. haha. JUDAH WON FIRST OVERALL! woohoo. HAIL HAIL LION OF JUDAH! hahaha. expected la. after asking pastor patrick to sign contract that he will minus off the bonus points that we got. the top 7 teams had to send representative for karaoke contest and joel went. JOEL CAN SING MAN! he got first! won us $300 cash and a pair of LIMITED EDITION watches that the couple we scammed sponsered. hohoho. so we're having dinner next week using our $300 uh(:
7 december(:
last day of camp ): went down for breakfast, saw all my unglam photos being screened. hahaha. it was a nice camp la. with the clique and for the first time seeingJERALD GO SO CRAZY! even lianne said it was her first time. hahaha. about 11 plus, checked out and went off with the chang, chan, chiang, chew and woon family to seremban.
